Programme description

A week of day-long outdoor activity clubs for children aged 7 to 13, based around Lauriston Castle's wildlife-packed woodlands and ponds.

Children select their own activities each day. They can mix and match between: shelter & camp building, wild cookery, fire-making techniques, tooluse & survival techniques; nature photography, pottery, weaving & woodland art galleries; pond dipping, bug-hunting, tracks and trails, and camouflage, games and much, much more.

A must for fans of nature programmes & Bear Grylis!

Programme designed and led by Forest School-trained leader, ensuring best practice and allowing children to develop their interests, skills, self-esteem and independence within a safe, supportive and inspiring group structure. Book individual days or a full week. Times to suit working parents, convenient pick-ups in north and south Edinburgh available, wet weather alternatives provided.
